An exciting day… sorta.

I received a facebook message asking me if I knew that the website was looking a bit peculiar.  Ummmmm…. nope. Thanks for telling me!

Arghhhhh!!!!
It would seem that the turkish underground subversion terrorist dorks are getting their message out by hacking unsuspecting websites and hijacking their homepage.
Again I say ARGHHHHH!!!

I won’t start into my diatribe about the senselessness of hacking someone’s website, especially if you’re trying to make a political statement. (Somehow I just don’t think it brings anyone over to your way of thinking. Especially if they don’t speak Turkish)
Just leave my stuff alone, you… you… stupid hackers!

I said  many bad words and called my tech support. They are always helpful and friendly. But they  left me on hold so long that I figured out how to fix it myself.  Yay me!
There  for a few brief moments I was basking in the glory of being a Geek Goddess.

I had to change my compromised password so now I have a new password that is so secure that even I can’t get past it.

But now…
to carry on with my Geek Goddessness…

I made a font!
I’m so darn proud of myself. And it was fun too.
I named it “Bit O Curl”
It makes me so happy I want to do another one… so if you need me I’ll be parked in the computer room with a gallon of coffee and the music blasting.

You’ve all seen the stick people on car windows. Some are really cute. Some… not so much.

These are not your ordinary stick people. In fact, they’re not people at all.

It tickles me when folks step out of the box a little and ask for something that is unique to their own family. I’m more than happy to oblige.

Draw, color and make fun things on the computer.  That’s all I do all day long, day after day…. sigh. (hee-hee)

Everybody who’s ready for some spring raise your hand and give a shout.

Me too.
Can’t wait for this blanket of white that’s been covering everything since the first of December to melt away and let me see some green. Even a little dirt color would be welcome at this point.

In order to fight off the winter-time housebound craziness that is starting to possess everyone – we’re bringing on the flowers.

Clocks. I love ‘em. I have 2 or 3 in every room of my house. It’s like a ticking symphony when the house is quiet at night and you can hear all the clocks keeping their own particular rhythm.

It sounds like that here at the shop too. We usually have 5 or 6 of the large clocks that we make out on display and they are never in sync with each other either.

I can’t help it. Our clocks are some of the prettiest wall clocks I’ve seen.
I love this one that I finished up this afternoon for a customer. I think she’ll love it too.
